Panama Eco Trips

First thing is first: SAFETY.

We are not the tours police, and depending on your previous experiences when going on Eco trips, you will ultimately decide how you like to do things. We only ask you to be safe

Knowing your limits is the first thing you need to be aware of. You wont start to climb a big mountain, just to be rescued afterwards because you did not prepare, just like you wont jump in a river without knowing how to swim.

When you are taking part in any of the activities we offer, you will be encouraged to do it in a safe manner, primarily for your safety first and second, so the group is not affected by any accidents in which one person is injured in any way.

Please take the following guidelines into consideration:

• Wear proper clothing: If you are going hiking or trekking, please use boots and long pants.
• Make sure your camera is fully charged.
• Weather: check the weather report before you leave, allows you to prepare for it.
• Precipice: no need to show anyone how brave you are, remain at a safe distance.
• River: wanna jump in? By all means do so, just make sure you know how to swim first.
• Whale watching: swimming with them is now allowed, please dont try to do so.
• Bird watching: stay as quiet as possible, make sure you have a nice camera and lenses.
• Beaches: make sure you follow the guidelines set by lifeguards if present.
• Not sure about something? Ask, we will answer to the best of our ability.
• Do your homework: if you know where you are going, it doesn’t hurt learning a bit about the place you will be visiting.
• Stay in contact: Sure, when you are having so much fun, you may not want to come back however, you must stay with the group, returning promptly is important.
