Mountains Hiking

$135 per person

The Volcan Baru is the highest mountain in Panama. It is located at 3,475 meters above sea level in the province of Chiriqui.

it lies about 35Km off the border of Costa Rica and its also the 12th highest peak in Central America.

Visitors enjoy different tours to this inactive volcano, among which we can mention hiking via Volcan (the town), hiking via Boquete. This tour we offer it starting in Volcan, finishing up in Boquete.

This tour is for visitors who enjoy the challenge, we recommend that tour takers enjoy somewhat good physical health and conditions as the hike takes about 8 hours and it is considered medium to difficult ascent.

We would meet tour takers in Volcan and drive them to Paso Ancho, it is important to note that departure is at 5:30, so make sure you plan ahead, and get a good night sleep the night before.
